About Us

Who we are

VPNFin is a small, independent team of digital privacy enthusiasts based in Southeast Asia. We don’t have a fancy office or a marketing department — just people who have relied on VPNs in daily life for years and got tired of reviews that repeat marketing claims without checking them.

What we actually do

We do the homework. For every VPN we cover, we:

  • read the privacy policy and the terms line by line — including the renewal pricing most reviews skip;
  • check the audit record: who independently verified the no-logs claim, and how recently;
  • cross-reference independent speed and security results from multiple published sources;
  • track streaming access reports and re-check claims when platforms change;
  • flag what can’t be verified — and say so in the review instead of guessing.

Living in Southeast Asia keeps us honest about one more thing: around here, a VPN is not a theoretical privacy tool. Blocked services, public Wi-Fi, long-distance connections — that daily reality is the perspective we write from.

What we don’t do

We don’t take payment for rankings or positive coverage. We don’t publish sponsored posts disguised as reviews. And we don’t invent test numbers — if a figure appears in our content, it comes from a named source or the provider’s own documentation, and we tell you which.

How we make money

We earn affiliate commissions when readers buy a VPN through our links. This never changes the price you pay and never changes our ratings. Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
