If you need an IPVanish dedicated IP, the answer from VPNAlert, Gizmodo and several.com is that there isn’t one. All three report that IPVanish uses only shared, dynamic addresses, with no dedicated IP add-on. One comparison site claims IPVanish sells them in five countries, but we found no sign of that on IPVanish’s own pages, so check the checkout before relying on either.
This guide covers what shared addresses mean, when a dedicated IP matters, workarounds and providers that sell one.
What Reviews Say About an IPVanish Dedicated IP
VPNAlert’s 2026 guide says IPVanish relies only on dynamic shared IPs, so you cannot get a static address to whitelist. Gizmodo’s 2026 comparison lists no dedicated IP, and several.com names its absence as a drawback.
A 2026 static-IP comparison says the opposite, without detail. Until IPVanish lists the option on its own pricing page, treat it as unavailable. Our dedicated IP guide explains the feature.

Shared Addresses and Privacy
With shared IPs, many users exit through the same address, so activity cannot easily be tied to one person. That is the main privacy benefit of a shared VPN address. VPNAlert presents that as IPVanish’s reason for sticking with dynamic addresses.
The trade-off is reputation: a shared address may already be flagged by a site, triggering CAPTCHAs or blocks for everyone using it.
When a Dedicated IP Matters
A dedicated IP helps when a service whitelists one address, such as a work dashboard or remote server, and when banks or payment sites keep challenging shared VPN addresses. It also reduces CAPTCHAs.
It is less anonymous, since the address is yours alone and sites can recognise it across visits. For streaming and everyday privacy, shared addresses are usually fine and cost nothing extra.

Workarounds With IPVanish
If a site flags one IPVanish server, switch to another city or server; IPVanish owns its servers and lists many locations. A fresh address often clears a CAPTCHA loop. For a banking app that blocks VPNs, split tunnelling on Windows and Android can keep it outside the tunnel.
These help with blocks, not with whitelisting, which needs an address that never changes from one day to the next.
Providers That Sell One
Private Internet Access, NordVPN and Surfshark sell dedicated IPs as paid add-ons, VPNAlert notes, and CyberGhost offers one too. Kape owns CyberGhost and PIA, and Nord Security owns NordVPN and Surfshark. Locations and prices differ by provider, so compare the countries you need.
Our PIA dedicated IP guide and CyberGhost dedicated IP guide cover two options.

Streaming, Banking, Remote Work and Port Forwarding
For streaming, a dedicated IP is rarely the deciding factor; streaming services block known VPN addresses of every kind. For banking and remote work, a fixed address avoids repeated security checks and lets an employer whitelist you for internal tools.
If your work needs whitelisting, ask your IT team which providers they accept before you buy.
IPVanish also offers no port forwarding, VPNAlert notes in its torrenting guide, so hosting a game server or remote access to a home machine needs a different provider. PIA offers both port forwarding and a dedicated IP add-on.
Our port forwarding guide compares providers.
Choosing Between Them, and Price
If whitelisting is the main need, pick a provider with a dedicated IP in the country you need. If you want unlimited devices and low renewal prices, IPVanish’s shared addresses may still be the better fit for everything else.
Some people pair a dedicated IP from one provider with a general VPN from another, using each for what it does best.
IPVanish costs $57.22 for the first 24 months and renews at $89.99 a year, VPNOverview lists, with no device limit. Yearly website plans carry a 30-day refund; monthly plans carry none.
IPVanish’s no-logs policy has two audits in our table, by Leviathan in 2022 and Schellman in 2025.
Shared, Static and Dedicated, Explained
A shared IP is used by many customers at once and may change between sessions. Static addresses stay the same each time you connect to a server. Dedicated ones are static and assigned to you alone, usually for a fee.
Some guides call a rotating shared address a dedicated one, a 2026 static-IP comparison warns, so check what a provider actually sells.
How to Check for Yourself
Look at IPVanish’s checkout page for any add-on listed beside the plans, and ask its live chat, which runs around the clock, whether a dedicated IP is available in your country. Get the answer in writing, such as a chat transcript, before relying on it for work.
If you buy and find it missing, the 30-day refund on yearly website plans gives you a way out without losing money.
How We Research
This page draws on VPNAlert’s IPVanish dedicated IP guide, Gizmodo’s IPVanish comparison, several.com’s IPVanish review, a 2026 static-IP comparison and our IPVanish tables. We cross-checked these sources against each other, and where they conflict or something can’t be verified, we say so in the text rather than guessing. We checked time-sensitive figures, including prices in US dollars, on 8 October 2026. The main source we relied on is VPNAlert’s IPVanish dedicated IP guide. Our full approach lives on the About Us page.

The Verdict
An IPVanish dedicated IP does not appear to exist, according to VPNAlert, Gizmodo and several.com. If you need a fixed address, choose a provider that sells one.
