CyberGhost Dedicated IP (2026): Price, Token System and Locations

Disclosure: VPNFin is reader-supported. If you buy a VPN through links on this page, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our ratings — here’s our full disclosure.

A CyberGhost dedicated IP is a static address only you use, sold as an add-on. Security.org lists it at $2.50 a month on the two-year plan, $4 on the six-month plan and $5 on the monthly plan. CyberGhost links it to a token rather than your account, which adds privacy but means losing the token can cost you the address, CyberInsider warns.

This guide covers the price, the token system, the locations, when it helps and the trade-offs.

What a CyberGhost Dedicated IP Costs

Security.org gives the price by plan length: $2.50 a month with the two-year plan, $4.00 with the six-month plan and $5.00 with the monthly plan. PCWorld and Gizmodo both quote $2.50 a month. Gizmodo adds that Bitcoin purchases cannot include add-ons, so pay by card or PayPal if you want one.

The base plan renews at $56.94 a year on the two-year term, according to our renewal table. Our CyberGhost price guide covers the plans.

The Token System

CyberGhost issues a token when you buy the dedicated IP, CyberInsider explains, and you redeem it in the app to activate the address. WHTop notes the token links the address to you without tying it directly to your account. That separation is a privacy feature.

The catch is practical: CyberInsider warns that losing the token means losing access to the dedicated IP. Store it in a password manager or another safe place the moment you receive it.

Locations

Sources disagree on the count. PCWorld’s January 2026 review lists 20 locations across 13 countries. Tom’s Guide names 12 countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the US, with several cities in some. Gizmodo says 20-plus locations, and CyberGhost’s Android TV page lists 21.

Check the purchase page for the current list before buying, and pick the country where the services you need expect you to be.

Renewing the Add-On

The add-on price follows your plan length, so renewing on a shorter plan raises it. Check the renewal terms for both the base plan and the dedicated IP before your term ends.

When a Dedicated IP Helps

Banks and work systems often flag logins from shared VPN addresses with extra checks or captchas. A fixed address avoids that. Remote-work setups that allow-list specific IPs also need a stable one. Our online banking VPN guide explains the banking side.

Services that block shared VPN addresses see a single user instead. Our dedicated IP guide covers the general case.

The Privacy Trade-Off

A shared IP hides you among many users. A dedicated IP is yours alone, so a site that sees it can link your visits over time. The VPN still encrypts your traffic, but you lose the crowd. Use the dedicated address for the services that need it, and shared servers for everything else.

What It Does Not Add

PCWorld notes CyberGhost lacks multi-hop connections and IP rotation. A dedicated IP does not change that, and CyberGhost does not offer port forwarding, so a fixed address does not open inbound ports. Our PureVPN dedicated IP guide covers a provider that pairs the two.

Torrenting and Streaming

A dedicated IP does not change CyberGhost’s torrenting rules or add port forwarding, so seeding stays limited, as our torrenting VPN guide explains for providers without it. For streaming, a fixed address avoids the shared-IP signal some services look for. Our Netflix VPN guide explains why shared addresses get blocked.

Travel and Remote Work

Travellers who log in to home banking or work tools benefit most. The same address each time means fewer security challenges. Choose the dedicated location in your home country. Our travel VPN guide covers the rest of a travel setup.

Ask your IT team before relying on it for work, since some employers require their own corporate VPN instead. If they allow it, send them the dedicated address so they can add it to their allow-list. Our guide to Hotspot Shield Dedicated IP covers not offered, and the alternatives.

Testing After You Buy

Once the token is redeemed, connect to the dedicated location and check the address with our VPN test page. Log in to the bank or service that caused trouble, and see whether the extra checks disappear. CyberGhost’s 45-day refund window for website purchases covers that test, as our CyberGhost refund guide explains.

Using It on Different Devices

PCWorld describes a Dedicated IP section in CyberGhost’s app, next to the streaming and torrenting server lists. On a router, set the dedicated location up like any manual server, as our CyberGhost router guide explains. On Windows, our CyberGhost Windows guide shows where the app’s server lists sit.

How We Research

This page draws on Security.org, PCWorld, Gizmodo, Tom’s Guide, CyberInsider and WHTop on CyberGhost’s dedicated IP, CyberGhost’s Android TV page and our renewal table. We cross-checked these sources against each other, and where they conflict or something can’t be verified, we say so in the text rather than guessing. We checked time-sensitive figures, including prices in US dollars, on 6 October 2026. Add-on prices from Security.org, PCWorld and Gizmodo; renewal from our renewal table. The main source we relied on is Security.org’s CyberGhost FAQ. Our full approach lives on the About Us page.

The Verdict

A CyberGhost dedicated IP is one of the cheaper options at $2.50 a month on a long plan, with a token system that keeps it apart from your account. Guard the token, check the location list, and use it only where a fixed address helps. Our VPN ownership guide covers the company behind it. CyberGhost belongs to Kape Technologies, which also owns ExpressVPN and Private Internet Access.
