Reviewers disagree on StrongVPN dedicated IP availability. Security.org’s review says StrongVPN’s IP addresses are shared with other users and that NordVPN pulls ahead by selling a dedicated IP. A 2026 review on Newsfeeds says the opposite: that StrongVPN offers a static IP add-on in several countries on any plan. We could not confirm either from StrongVPN’s own pages, so check the checkout before you buy.
This guide covers what the sources say, how to check, and providers with confirmed dedicated IPs.
What the Sources Say
Security.org: other users share StrongVPN’s IPs, and NordVPN’s paid dedicated IP gives it an edge. Newsfeeds: a dedicated static IP add-on across several countries, available on any plan tier. The two cannot both describe the current offer, and neither cites StrongVPN’s checkout directly.

How to Check
Open StrongVPN’s checkout and look for a dedicated or static IP option before paying. If none appears, ask StrongVPN’s support, which its App Store listing says is available around the clock by email. If you buy and the option is missing, the 30-day refund applies only to yearly plans, as our StrongVPN refund guide explains.

Why You Might Want One
A dedicated IP reduces CAPTCHAs, keeps banking and work allowlists happy, and gives you an address no one else has used for abuse. The trade-off is less cover in the crowd. Our dedicated IP guide explains when it is worth paying for.
StrongVPN Dedicated IP Alternatives
PIA sells a dedicated IP with a token system that keeps it separate from your account, as our PIA dedicated IP guide explains. TorGuard includes one on its Pro plan, and NordVPN and Surfshark sell add-ons; NordVPN and Surfshark share an owner, Nord Security.

Does StrongVPN Dedicated IP Matter for You?
If you only need privacy on public Wi-Fi and steady streaming, a shared IP is fine. A StrongVPN dedicated IP matters only if you hit frequent CAPTCHAs, need an allowlisted address for work, or run something that needs incoming connections.
Static IP Without a Dedicated IP
Some users try to keep the same address by always connecting to one server. Shared addresses still change and other people use them, so this does not replace a real dedicated IP for allowlists.
Router Use
StrongVPN’s WireGuard generator builds configs for routers, as our StrongVPN router guide explains. If a dedicated IP option exists on your account, check whether it works with generated configs before relying on it at home.
A Quick Rule
Need a dedicated IP for certain? Choose PIA, TorGuard, NordVPN or Surfshark. Like StrongVPN otherwise? Check its checkout and ask support before buying, and buy yearly so the refund applies.
What to Ask Support
Ask three things: whether a StrongVPN dedicated IP exists today, which countries it covers, and what it costs per month. Keep the reply, so you can point to it if the checkout differs.
Dedicated IP and Streaming
A fresh dedicated address may avoid blocks that hit shared VPN IPs, but services can still flag it. Cloudwards found StrongVPN did not unblock Hulu or BBC iPlayer in its tests, so test the services you use.
Several Devices
StrongVPN allows 12 devices. If a dedicated IP option exists, check whether all devices can use it, or only one at a time.
Checking After Purchase
If you buy an add-on, connect and open our VPN test page twice, a day apart. A dedicated address should stay the same; a shared one usually changes.
Torrenting
Security.org lists torrenting as supported on StrongVPN. A dedicated IP is not needed for downloading, though it can help with incoming connections where a provider allows them.
Keeping Records
Save the checkout page, any support reply and your order email. If the add-on’s terms differ from what you were told, those records make a refund or correction straightforward within the 30-day window on yearly plans.
Quick Check
Before buying, search StrongVPN’s help centre for dedicated or static IP. Our StrongVPN dedicated IP check found no official page in the sources we read.
Who Should Skip the Question
If you do not need a fixed address, StrongVPN’s shared IPs already cover privacy on public Wi-Fi and everyday streaming. Only people with allowlists, frequent CAPTCHAs or hosting needs should spend time on this.
If You Already Pay for StrongVPN
Existing customers can ask support to add a dedicated address to the current plan. If support says none exists, compare the cost of adding a second provider’s dedicated IP against switching entirely.
StrongVPN’s Network
Server counts also vary: Security.org’s review gives 950+ servers in 30 countries, its pricing page 650 in 38, and VPNCentral counts WireGuard configs for 67 locations in 42 countries. StrongVPN owns its infrastructure, according to Newsfeeds.
StrongVPN’s Record
StrongVPN belongs to Ziff Davis, which also owns IPVanish, and our audit table records no independent audit. Our StrongVPN price guide covers the plans.
How We Research
This page draws on Security.org’s StrongVPN review and pricing page, Newsfeeds’ 2026 StrongVPN review, VPNCentral, StrongVPN’s App Store listing and our StrongVPN tables. We cross-checked these sources against each other, and where they conflict or something can’t be verified, we say so in the text rather than guessing. We checked time-sensitive figures, including prices in US dollars, on 7 October 2026. The main source we relied on is Security.org’s StrongVPN review. Our full approach lives on the About Us page.

The Verdict
StrongVPN dedicated IP availability is unclear, so check the checkout first. If you need a static IP for certain, choose a provider that clearly sells one.
