StrongVPN price options are simple: a monthly plan and a yearly plan. Security.org lists $11.99 a month, or $47.69 for the first year and then $89.99 a year. An older ProPrivacy review gave a $79.99 renewal, so check the current figure at checkout. Every plan covers 12 devices, and the 30-day guarantee applies to yearly plans only.

This guide covers the plans, the renewal, the refund rules and how StrongVPN compares.

The Plans

Security.org and GrabOn both list $11.99 for a month. The yearly plan costs about $47.69 for the first year, which GrabOn describes as roughly $3.97 a month. Both plans include the same features and 12 simultaneous devices.

The Renewal

Security.org reports the yearly plan renews at $89.99 after the first year. ProPrivacy’s older review quoted $79.99, so the renewal appears to have risen. Plan for the higher figure, and set a reminder before the first year ends. Our renewal price guide compares renewals across providers.

Refund Rules

The 30-day money-back guarantee covers yearly plans only; monthly plans carry no refund, TechRadar and GrabOn report. If you want to test StrongVPN without risk, buy the yearly plan and ask within 30 days. Our StrongVPN refund guide covers the steps.

What the Money Buys

StrongVPN offers WireGuard by default, a WireGuard config generator for routers, and a kill switch on Windows and macOS, though Top10VPN notes it is off by default. Mobile apps lack a confirmed kill switch, and only Android has split tunnelling, Cloudwards found. Our audit table records no independent audit. Our StrongVPN WireGuard guide covers the protocol.

Is StrongVPN Worth the Price?

For a household that wants 12 devices and router support at a mid-range renewal, StrongVPN price is reasonable. Users who want audits, a mobile kill switch or strong streaming results should compare rivals; Cloudwards found StrongVPN did not unblock Hulu or BBC iPlayer.

Which StrongVPN Plan to Choose

For a short trip or a quick test without needing a refund, the monthly plan at $11.99 is flexible. For anyone staying more than four months, the yearly plan costs less even at the higher renewal, and it is the only plan with a refund. Set a calendar reminder a week before the first year ends to decide whether to renew.

Cutting the Renewal

First-year prices apply to new subscriptions. Before the renewal date, it costs nothing to ask StrongVPN’s support whether a renewal offer exists; its App Store listing gives a support email monitored around the clock. Our guide to VPN prices explains how first-year deals and renewals differ across the market.

Seasonal Deals

Black Friday and similar sales mostly change the first-year price, not the renewal. Our VPN Black Friday guide covers timing. Check the renewal line on any deal before paying.

Paying for Devices

With 12 devices on every plan, StrongVPN price per device is low for a large household. A router counts as one device and covers everything behind it, as our StrongVPN router guide explains.

StrongVPN Price for Two Years

On the yearly plan, two years cost $47.69 plus $89.99, or $137.68, using Security.org’s figures. Two years of monthly billing at $11.99 come to $287.76. The yearly plan stays cheaper even after the renewal, as long as you keep the service.

Comparing Sister Brands

IPVanish, another Ziff Davis brand, sells its own plans with different prices and terms. Check both if you like the group’s approach, since features and refund rules differ. Our StrongVPN vs VyprVPN page compares a close US rival.

Checking Before You Pay

Read the checkout line by line: the first-year total, the renewal price and the date it applies. Confirm the plan is yearly if you want the refund. Our StrongVPN iPhone guide notes that App Store purchases follow Apple’s rules instead.

A Quick Rule

Staying longer than four months? Choose yearly for the lower total and the refund. Testing for a week? Monthly is flexible but non-refundable. Already on yearly? Note the renewal date now, since StrongVPN price rises to $89.99 after year one.

Routers and Price

A router counts as one device but covers every device behind it. Our router setup guide explains how that stretches a 12-device plan further.

Quick Check

After buying, open the account page and confirm the plan type, price and renewal date match the checkout.

Ownership

StrongVPN belongs to Ziff Davis, which also owns IPVanish, Encrypt.me, PCMag and CNET, our ownership table records. Our IPVanish vs StrongVPN page compares the sister brands.

How We Research

This page draws on Security.org’s StrongVPN review, GrabOn’s 2026 StrongVPN listing, ProPrivacy’s older review, TechRadar’s money-back guarantee comparison, Cloudwards, Top10VPN and our renewal, audit and ownership tables. We cross-checked these sources against each other, and where they conflict or something can’t be verified, we say so in the text rather than guessing. We checked time-sensitive figures, including prices in US dollars, on 7 October 2026. Sources disagree on StrongVPN’s renewal; check the checkout. The main source we relied on is Security.org’s StrongVPN review. Our full approach lives on the About Us page. Our page on StrongVPN dedicated IPs covers where sources disagree and how to check before buying.
