PrivadoVPN servers sit in about 60 cities across 49 countries, Wikipedia lists, and VPNOverview says the company describes hundreds of servers without giving an exact count. Free users get 13 locations, while Premium unlocks the full network. P2P works on selected servers, and WireGuard, OpenVPN and IKEv2 run on every server, PCWorld notes.
This guide covers the network, free versus Premium, and how to choose a server.
How Big Is the Network?
Wikipedia gives 60 cities in 49 countries; VPNOverview says hundreds of servers across roughly 49 countries, the exact number undisclosed. That is smaller than NordVPN, Surfshark or CyberGhost, VPNOverview notes. NordVPN and Surfshark share an owner, Nord Security.

Free or Premium Servers
The free plan gives 13 locations, VPNOverview found, with 10 GB a month at full speed on one device. Premium opens every location and allows 10 devices. Our PrivadoVPN free guide covers the free limits.

P2P Servers
VPNOverview says PrivadoVPN supports P2P on selected servers. Use those for torrents, keep the kill switch on, and consider Premium’s SOCKS5 proxies for clients that support them. Our torrenting VPN guide compares providers.
Picking PrivadoVPN Servers
For everyday speed, choose the nearest server with WireGuard. For streaming, pick a server in the library’s country. Torrent users should pick a P2P-enabled server. Save the ones you use as favourites.

Choosing PrivadoVPN Servers for Streaming
For a regional library, connect in that country, then close the streaming app fully and reopen it. TechRadar’s 2026 testing reported this provider reaching Netflix in the US, UK, Australia and Japan. Our Netflix VPN guide explains how services detect VPNs.
Regional Coverage
We found no published regional breakdown in the sources we read. If you need a particular country, install the free app and check its location list before paying, or ask support whether Premium covers it.
Speed and Distance
Distance matters more than anything else. Pick the nearest location for everyday use, run a speed test with and without the VPN, and keep the faster option as a favourite. Our guide to VPN speed explains the overhead.
A Quick Rule
Free user? Pick from the 13 locations and stay within 10 GB. Premium? Nearest location for speed, library country for streaming, a P2P-enabled location for torrents.
Free Plan Locations
VPNOverview counts 13 free locations spread across several countries. They suit browsing and light streaming within the 10 GB allowance, after which the free plan drops to slower connections. Premium removes both the location limit and the cap.
Torrenting Locations
P2P works only on selected locations, VPNOverview says. Pick one marked for P2P in the app, keep the kill switch on, and consider Premium’s SOCKS5 proxies for clients that support them, remembering that SOCKS5 alone does not encrypt.
Several Devices
Premium covers 10 devices, PCWorld notes. Each can connect to a different location, so a phone at home and a laptop abroad can each use the nearest one.
Is the Network Big Enough?
For most users, about 49 countries covers the usual streaming and travel needs. Users who need many smaller markets will find more choice with larger providers. Checking PrivadoVPN servers in the free app first costs nothing.
Checking for Leaks
After connecting, run our DNS leak guide and our WebRTC leak guide. A location change means little if DNS or the browser still reveals your real address.
Keeping Favourites Current
Networks change as providers add and retire locations. Review your favourites every few months and replace any that have slowed or disappeared.
Travelling With PrivadoVPN Servers
Before a trip, check that the list includes a location near your destination and one at home. Home keeps banking and streaming familiar; the local one keeps speeds up. Install and test before you leave, since some countries make app stores harder to reach.
Quick Check
Connect to three locations in turn and note the speed and address of each. Keep the best as a favourite.
Changing Location Often
Switching locations as often as you like is allowed on Premium. Free users stay within the 13 free locations, so pick the nearest one for speed rather than hopping between them.
Phones and TVs
The mobile and TV apps show the same location list. Save a nearby favourite on each device, so switching takes one tap.
Protocols on Every Server
PCWorld lists WireGuard, OpenVPN and IKEv2 on every server. WireGuard suits most uses; OpenVPN helps where UDP is blocked, as our PrivadoVPN OpenVPN guide explains.
Checking a Server
After connecting, confirm the address with our VPN test page. The country should match the server you picked.
Privacy Record
Our audit table records no independent audit for PrivadoVPN, though VPNOverview describes its no-logs policy as audited, so the sources disagree. It moved its legal base to Iceland on 1 May 2026, Wikipedia notes. Our PrivadoVPN safety guide weighs the evidence.
How We Research
This page draws on Wikipedia’s PrivadoVPN entry, VPNOverview’s and PCWorld’s PrivadoVPN reviews and our PrivadoVPN tables. We cross-checked these sources against each other, and where they conflict or something can’t be verified, we say so in the text rather than guessing. We checked time-sensitive figures, including prices in US dollars, on 7 October 2026. The main source we relied on is VPNOverview’s PrivadoVPN review. Our full approach lives on the About Us page.
