StrongVPN Server List (2026): Network Size, Owned Servers and P2P

StrongVPN server list counts depend on the source. Security.org’s review and Fahimai’s 2026 review give 950+ servers in about 30 countries; Security.org’s pricing page gives 650 in 38. VPNCentral counts WireGuard configs for 67 locations in 42 countries, and Netify maps 44 countries and 67 cities. Fahimai says the servers are physical and P2P works on all of them, and Newsfeeds says StrongVPN owns its infrastructure.

This guide covers the numbers, what they mean and how to choose a server.

How Big Is the Network?

Counts differ because sources measure different things at different times: servers, countries, cities or router configs. Expect roughly 650 to 950 servers in 30 to 44 countries, with around 67 cities. That is smaller than NordVPN’s 8,000+ servers, Security.org notes.

Owned, Physical Servers

Fahimai says all StrongVPN servers are physical and located where they claim to be, and Newsfeeds says StrongVPN runs its own infrastructure rather than renting it. That gives it more control over performance.

US Coverage

Netify’s map lists many US cities, including Ashburn, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Seattle and others. US streaming users have plenty of choice. Our StrongVPN DNS guide covers StrongDNS for TVs.

Picking From the StrongVPN Server List

For speed, choose the nearest city with WireGuard; Fahimai measured only 5 to 7% loss on nearby servers. Torrent users can pick any server, Fahimai says. For streaming, pick the library’s country, and use StrongDNS on TVs. Our StrongVPN WireGuard guide covers the router configs.

StrongVPN Server List for Routers

The router generator offers configs for 67 locations in 42 countries, VPNCentral counts, which is a handy view of the network for home setups. Generate one config per location you use often.

Streaming by Country

Pick a server in the country of the library you want. On TVs without a VPN app, StrongDNS can change location instead, as ProPrivacy found with BBC iPlayer and Channel 4. Results change over time, so test your services.

Checking a Server

After connecting, confirm the address with our VPN test page. The country should match the server you picked. Run our DNS leak guide too.

Several Devices

StrongVPN allows 12 devices, and each can use a different server. A router running StrongVPN counts as one device and covers everything behind it.

A Quick Rule

Need a specific country? Check the StrongVPN server list in the app before paying. Want speed? Nearest city with WireGuard. Torrenting? Any server. TV? StrongDNS or a router.

Speed Across the Network

Fahimai measured 5 to 7% speed loss on nearby servers, a strong result for a smaller network. Distant servers lose more. Test two or three cities at your busiest time and save the fastest as a favourite.

Torrenting Across the Network

Fahimai says P2P works on every StrongVPN server, so you do not need to hunt for special torrent servers. Keep the kill switch on; Top10VPN notes it is off by default on desktop. Our torrenting VPN guide compares providers.

Dedicated IPs

Sources disagree on whether StrongVPN sells dedicated IPs, as our StrongVPN dedicated IP guide explains. Check the checkout if you need one.

Is the StrongVPN Server List Enough?

For US-centred use, streaming from major markets and torrents, the StrongVPN server list covers most needs. Travellers to Africa, South America or smaller Asian markets should check the country list first, since 30 to 44 countries leaves gaps.

Keeping Favourites Current

Server lists change as providers add and retire locations. Review your favourites every few months and replace any that have slowed.

Travelling

Before a trip, check the StrongVPN server list for a location near your destination and one at home. Home keeps banking and streaming familiar; the local one keeps speeds up. Install and test before you leave.

Quick Check

Connect to three cities in turn and note the speed and address of each. Keep the best two as favourites, and repeat the test after a month.

Physical Versus Virtual

Some providers list virtual locations that route through another country. Fahimai says StrongVPN’s servers are all physical, which means the location you pick is where traffic exits. That matters for streaming and local content.

Phones

The mobile apps show the same list. Save a nearby favourite on each device for one-tap switching, and a second one in another country for streaming.

Smaller Than Rivals

Security.org warns a smaller network may mean busier servers at peak times. If a server slows, switch to another in the same country.

StrongVPN’s Record

StrongVPN belongs to Ziff Davis, which also owns IPVanish, and our audit table records no independent audit. It allows 12 devices; Security.org lists $11.99 a month or $47.69 for the first year. Our StrongVPN price guide covers the plans.

How We Research

This page draws on Security.org’s StrongVPN review and pricing page, Fahimai’s 2026 review, VPNCentral’s 2026 router roundup, Netify’s network map, Newsfeeds and our StrongVPN tables. We cross-checked these sources against each other, and where they conflict or something can’t be verified, we say so in the text rather than guessing. We checked time-sensitive figures, including prices in US dollars, on 7 October 2026. The main source we relied on is Security.org’s StrongVPN review. Our full approach lives on the About Us page.
