Payment method matters for refunds. Cash and bank transfers can’t be refunded under Proton’s terms, so pay by card or PayPal if you might change your mind.

Speed trails NordVPN in reviews, and the free plan won’t let you pick a country. Refunds need two steps, downgrading and a support-form request, or you get credit instead of cash.
